We are very pleased to announce that Back Azimuth has been named a finalist in the 2016 Landy Awards.  We are very prod of being included in the submission with Absolut Vodka for the Best Enterprise SEO category.

The nomination was titled ““The Absolut Company – Maximizing Digital ShelfSpace” describing how the collaboration between the multiple brands enabled the significant gain of efficiency as well as increased “SERP ShelfSpace” for the collective brands.  Most companies struggle with getting a single listing and this project not only achieved a top listing but in many cases multiple brands were represented in the top results.  We simply leveraged a traditional retail strategy to get more bottles on shelf.  Doing so increased exposure for the various brands but also denied exposure to competitors.

The second category was Best In-House SEO Team naming Abdolut as a finalist.   The nomination titled “Growth Hacking AbsolutDrinks.com” highlighted the amazing success achieved by a newly created “growth Hacking Team assembled to take AbsolutDrinks.com to the next level of performance.  This team was made of people from development, digital marketing, creative, social media and Bill Hunt from Back Azimuth helping integrate Search best practices.  This team was powered by the detailed insights from Keyword Opportunity models from DataPrizm.

Back Azimuth’s CEO was also a Finalist for “Search Marketer of the Year” for his contribution to the success for multiple clients but also for his contributions to the Search Industry.
